Protein overnight oats is a great, easy way to start your day right, with a filling breakfast with lots of protein. And making them is SO EASY.
- Choose your oats, I like Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
- Add 1/4 cup oats to a small food storage container, along with 1/4 cup milk of your choice (cow, almond, oat, etc)
- Add 1 tbsp of powdered peanut butter.
- Add 1/4 scoop of your favorite protein powder
- Mix well and put into the fridge overnight.
- Before you eat, add your fruit topper. It can be banana, berries, apples, anything you like!
You can also add some chia seeds and flaxseed for extra nutrients. Just add some more milk because the chia seeds absorb a lot.
These can be made up to 3 days ahead of time, so you can prep the first part of your week at once! You can also substitute the powdered peanut butter for cocoa for a chocolately treat!
